چکیده

Microporous Polymer Networks (MPNs) that contain aggregate-induced emission (AIE) active tetraphenylethylene (TPE) or other tetraarylethylene units have been generated in a reductive polyolefination process starting from four different tris(a,a-dichlorobenzyl)arene derivatives with dicobalt octacarbonyl or chromium(II)acetate as reductive olefination agents. Microporosity with moderately high BET surface areas up to 500 m g 1 could be combined with high solid state photoluminescence quantum yields up to 25.3% for polymer network P4. This unique combination should be promising for applications as optical solid state sensors, especially for MPNs with electron-deficient triazine core units.

Tuning porosity and activity of microporous polymer network organocatalysts by co-polymerisation.

Microporous polymer networks based on binaphthyl phosphoric acids are suitable heterogeneous asymmetric organocatalysts. Herein we show that the porous characteristics of such networks can be fine-tuned by co-polymerisation. This enables us to investigate the influence of the surface area and porosity in microporous networks on their catalytic performance. In this case, the activity of the poly...

Hydophilic polypropylene microporous membrane for using in a membrane bioreactor system and optimization of preparation conditions by response surface methodology

In this study, the response surface methodology (RSM) based on the central composite design (CCD) was used to optimize the preparation condition of polypropylene-grafted maleic anhydride (PP-g-MA) microporous membrane by thermally-induced phase separation (TIPS) method. A mixture of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and dioctyl phthalate (DOP) was used as diluent. The effect of polymer composition and qu...

Microporous Porphyrin and Metalloporphyrin Materials

The diverse e4orts to rationally construct microporous solids using porphyrins and metalloporphyrins as molecular building blocks are reviewed. Porphyrin-based molecular crystals, hydrogen-bonded networks, and metal ion coordination polymer networks are examined in detail. Recurring geometrical motifs observed in the structural frameworks of di4erent porphyrinic solids are emphasized, and the i...

Carbon Dioxide Adsorption in Betulin-Based Micro- and Macroporous Polyurethanes

Microporous polymers, that is polymers having pores of molecular size (D<2 nm), attracted a lot of interest during the last few years. They are promising materials for gas storage or separation but could also find use in heterogeneous catalysis. Recently, the separation of the green house gas CO2 evoked large interest in the scientific community. Among other microporous materials, such as activ...

Conjugated Microporous Networks on the Basis of 2,3,5,6-Tetraarylated Diketopyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrolea

π-Conjugated microporous networks have been prepared from the tetraarylated diketopyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole unit as a tetrafunctional building block. The reactions are carried out using microwave-assisted Yamamoto or Sonogashira cross-coupling. Red insoluble powders are obtained, showing intense fluorescence. The polymer networks exhibit a high gas storage capability, with BET surface areas up to a...
